"...On the Republican side, the five candidates are Aubrey Dunn, C. Earl Greer, Monty Newman, Greg Sowards, and Ed Tinsley.
We feel Greer would be the best choice for Grant County.
He doesn't have as much money for his campaign as Dunn or Tinsley, but his main strength is that he grew up on a ranch in Winston, next door in Sierra County — he actually knows where we are, and we feel he'd be a strong advocate for area farmers and ranchers.
Greer is the only Hispanic in the race, and speaks fluent Spanish. His family has been in New Mexico since the 16th century, and he understands the people and the issues in Grant County..."
